It's Another BOY!! 

(No, we didn't have a gender reveal party, I borrowed that picture)

We're so thankful for this little guy.  Well, I don't know if I should call him little or not, he is measuring 12 days ahead -a BIG boy.  I was really shocked to hear he is so big, when I'm still down a few pounds in weight.  I guess he's getting all my nutrients.  Hudson always measured small (except for his giant head).   He looks good and healthy - I was a little concerned because I haven't felt him move, yet and I felt Hudson move at 15 weeks, and I took a really nasty fall last week on my bottom.  I'm still sore!!  We're both glad that Hudson will have a little brother- hopefully they'll end up best friends.  

I'll be 18 weeks on Saturday.  I'm not completely over my nausea, but it's much better.  I'm also still pretty tired, it'll be nice to not need a nap 2-3 times a day.  I know the more pregnancies a woman has, the faster she'll get big.  But...oh, wow!  I feel huge!   ---I had a dream last week that I had my c-section, it was a boy, came home 2 days later, wasn't in any pain, Brian went back to work immediately, the baby was a dream and slept through the night, Hudson was a dear, and I had a ton of energy. -I'm very hopeful this turns out to be true.  

Now...we need a name.  Any good suggestions?

Exciting News!

Well, I'm happy and excited to announce that I'm pregnant!   We are still a little shocked, but so...thankful!

Happy New Year!!

I've gotten so far behind on blogging that I don't even know where to start.  The past month and a half is a bit of a blur.  We've had a lot of sickness - Hudson was sick for 3 weeks, I was sick with a sinus infection 2 different times.  We were in Indiana for a week at Christmas and a quick 3 day trip not too long ago.

Hopefully I'll find some time to update my blog and back date the posts.

I also need some time to catch up on all my favorite blogs.  Hudson has been out of school for, I think, 5 weeks and finally just went back, so hopefully on days he is in school, I can blog.

Happy 2nd Birthday!  We love you so much and can't believe you're 2 -your favorite number.  This past year flew by so fast.  Your little personality has really exploded.  You're full of life and energy.  You LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Curious George!  You love being outside, playing with your blocks (Legos), choo choos, eating, preschool, baths, "helping", babies, Mickey Mouse, praying, and reading (we can't read you enough books).  

We had a Curious George Birthday for you and you were so excited!

Prayer Request

Last night a tornado ripped through my old neighborhood in Kokomo, IN.   We still have several friends who live in that neighborhood and had severe storm damage.  This is a picture of our friend's, Kara and Shane's house.  The roof and garage door were ripped off.  The closet they would have taken cover in is where their garage door ended up.  Thankful for God's little mercies -they weren't home!!

We have another set of friends in that neighborhood that also had significant storm damage.   Please take a moment a pray for them.  They're all still in shock and have just started looking important items.

Going Away

Two of our dearest friends are packing up and moving to Michigan in just a couple of weeks.  (I'm sad and in denial at the same time.)  It's a good move for them, but sad for all of us.  

We put all of the kids in the basement to play.  Here are a few of the kids playing King of the Hill with poor Chris.

Visitors

Two of our best friends (Josh and Julie) came down for the weekend and we had the best time!  I just didn't get enough pictures.  Hudson and Kaitlyn were so cute and sweet together.  We took them to the park for a while and they loved the slide.  They held hands several times going down.

So...sweet!
