The past month has flown by. I feel like this past month has gone by faster than 1 day of this past winter. I've been trying to make each day something special and fun. We have a lot of repeat adventures, but it's been a lot of fun to get out of the house. Hudson is at such a fun age that we're really taking advantage of fun summer activities.
I took Hudson to Indiana for about 5 days while Brian started remodeling our master bathroom. We had a blast! My Mom and Hudson cuddling watching some cartoons.
My Dad took Hudson on lawn mower rides a couple of times a day. Hudson loved "driving" it around.
Hudson and I went to sweet little Addie's softball game. I got Hudson some ice cream and he was in heaven. He enjoyed cheering Addie on.
Sweet Buds Drew and Hudson
Right before we left to come back to Kentucky.
Lexington offers a Friday Night Flick at Dusk and we met up with some friends and decided to have a picnic. They were playing Frozen. The movie didn't start until well after 9. We packed up and left a little before 9, we didn't want Hudson to start melting down. He usually goes to bed about 8. They had a petting zoo and bounce houses for the kids. We had a really good time.
Brian's parents came for a weekend visit and we took Hudson fishing. I love this picture.
Hudson loved feeding the ducks when we were done fishing. Sadly, no fish were caught.
We had a nice lunch at Wallace Station. Hudson doesn't look thrilled, but he loved having his grandparents here for the weekend.
Hudson helped me make a Father's Day cake for Brian.
Brian and I even got to sneak away for a nice dinner date at Palmer's. It was delicious and we got to sit right by the water - such a perfect evening.
We've had fun playing with the hose.
We've also spent some time playing with the slip-n-slide.
We've also spent a lot of time at the neighborhood pool. Hudson is doing great and is becoming quite the little fish.
And we've even spent a little time at home in the baby pool.
Hudson loved feeding the ducks at the park, so we went back with some bread.
We're loving every minute of Summer and trying to make as many memories as possible! We've loved being a family of 3 and giving Hudson all our attention these past 2 1/2 years, but we're super excited to become a family of 4 in just a few short weeks.
