Mexico--Rest of Trip

I'm going to post the rest of the pictures since we didn't do anything but sit on the beach and read day after day - the pictures tend to all be the same.  We both read 3 books a couple of magazines.   Day 3 was also great!  We were concerned because there was about a 30% chance of rain, but it ended up being sunny all day.
Pelican chillin on the beach
Makes me so happy to relive these pictures as I'm posting them.
Getting ready to get in the water

We saw several wind surfers - so cool!

I seriously debated posting this picture - but I figured, "Hey, I'm a Momma, my body has never been perfect and never will be."

Nearing the end of the day
Not sure why there is a pink hue

Different camera - not sure I can really pull the maxi dress off.

Start of Day 4
I asked a woman to take this picture - I really like it, but wish the color was better
I was messing around trying to get the color better and snapped this picture of Brian.  I really like it.

I couldn't get the setting right, so  I had Brian give it a try.  Of course he figured it out.

I would like this picture if my hair weren't so wild

Next Day -- a few of the pretty flowers

Packing up to leave

Our last picture at the resort
We had such a great trip, but this was the only vacation we have ever looked forward to coming home.  It was so great to see Hudson.  We really missed him, but he had a blast.

Mexico Day 2

We woke up just before sunrise every day and sat on our balcony and drank coffee and enjoyed all the beautiful colors.

I have about a million sunrise pictures.  I'll try and not bore you all with them.
We saw several cruise ships throughout the week.  After hearing about that awful cruise debacle, we were glad we hadn't decided to go on one.

Sitting and enjoying the sun.  We had a big jacuzzi tub on our balcony, but we never used it.
We actually got to watch a beach wedding -it was really pretty---I would post the only picture I have from the wedding, but a woman walked up and got in my shot and she was wearing a thong and she was not fit (not a good look!)
We got out to the beach nice and early everyday and got in the front row.  Until I saw this picture, I had no idea that we really were the only ones on the beach that early.

I spent a lot of time looking for shells - I ended up not bringing any of them home
Great view
My Target cover-up - I saw 3 other girls with the same cover-up
We actually spent quite a bit of time in the water everyday - the waves were a lot of fun and really beat us up.  We had red flags everyday, but everyone still got out in the water.
See the shells?  I can't believe I didn't bring any back
At the end of the day, we spent some time at the pool
One of the restaurants
Getting ready for dinner
I call that my Ocean Dress

Oh, I'm so in love with that man!
On our way to dinner - our reservation wasn't until 8:30 that night - we felt really young again - we haven't eaten that late in years
Day 2 was also Amazing!

Vacation

My Love and I are back from a much needed vacation.  We spent just under a week in Mexico.  It was so great!  We had always planned on taking a vacation for our five year anniversary, but Hudson was only a few weeks old, so we decided to wait until he was older so we could leave him with our parents.  It was so...hard to leave him, I cried before we left, but we knew he was in good hands.  Our parent's split him and he had an absolute blast.  We called him daily and it was so good to talk to him.  Mexico was amazing!  We had perfect weather everyday - 80-85 degrees with sunshine and a nice breeze.
Almost to our destination  -flying was quick and easy, thankfully.
Beautiful clouds, ocean, and coastline
The view from our hotel room---so...beautiful
We never got tired of the view.
We loved our room!  It was so nice!
Brian checking out the safe
We arrived at our hotel by 1 pm and were able to get into our room right away
We quickly changed into beachwear and headed down for some lunch -we were really hungry.  The food was delicious!
Finally, about 2 pm, we made it down to the beach - just breathtaking!

The backside of our hotel - The Solaris
The view from under our umbrella
The water was just so beautiful!
My man chillin

Brian snapped this photo of me while I was snapping photos
We went on a sunset walk
I love all the colors in this picture! We spent a lot of time marveling at God's creation.

I was trying to set up my camera and turn the self timer on, so Brian had to stand there and be my guinea pig
We went to an amazing Mexican buffet for dinner---we still can't get over how good it was
I will say it again - we had such a great time!
