The three of us just got back from a trip to Houston. We visited Brian's brother and his family. We had a really fun time. We usually fly, but we decided to drive this time and it actually wasn't bad. We broke the trip up and stayed for a night in Little Rock, Arkansas. We got there at a decent time and got to explore their river walk area. We got to watch a few minutes of Jazz in the Park. The river walk was really pretty and was a lot of fun. We let Hudson burn off some energy running all over the place.
The boys mostly had a good time playing together - they were typical 2 year olds and we heard a lot of "Mine! Mine! Mine!"
Too busy looking for something to look at the camera.
I love this picture of my little boy looking like a big boy.
Busy checking out all the skeletons.
We took the boys to The Bayou Safari on our second day. It was so much fun!!! We rode around the park in a wagon and got to feed the animals.
The boys don't look very excited in this picture, but they really did have a great time.
This camel's name was Cindy and was really sweet. Hudson loved petting and feeding her.
She made herself right at home in our wagon.
This is the best picture I have of the 2 little ones and big ones.
After the ride, we went into the petting zoo and fed some more animals.
The adventure ended with a pony ride. Hudson said that was his favorite item of the day.
Terrible picture - but we ate at this great German Restaurant named Rudy Lechner's. They had a really fun interactive band. The boys loved giving a tip and ringing their bell.
We loved spending time outside and had a few meals on their patio area.
Chris and Brittney's pool was too cold to fully get in, but it was a lot of fun to sit on the side and play.
The boys eventually got in about waist deep and had a blast.
I loved sitting by the pool and soaking up all the rays. I did eventually get in up to my knees.
On our last day, we took the boys to this neat outdoor shopping center and let them run and play.
Cooper did not like Hudson putting his arm around him.
We had such a fun time (minus Hudson's meltdowns).
You were only 3 hours away from me in Little Rock! Looks like a fun trip.
ReplyDeleteI could barely see the baby bump :) ... the safari sounds like a lot of fun.
