You had your 9 month appointment today.
You weigh 20 lbs and 4.8 oz = 47%
Your length is 28 1/4" = 53%
Your head circumference is 47.5 cm =96%
All the time, I hear what a big baby you are.

You are still saying da da da da da da, na na na na, mum mum mum, and ba, ba, ba. You make several other sounds that I'm not sure how to describe. We love hearing you jabber. Occasionally, you yell out in excitement.
We love watching you wave and dance - so...cute! You have started playing patty cake and shake your head back and forth (you're not saying "no", it's more of a new dance move). You have started making a cute "scrunchy" face.
You still love your little pool and splashing around.
I love this picture! You are generally a pretty happy baby.
You are still wearing 6-9 month clothes mostly.
You have started hugging and giving big wet sloppy kisses.
You are still eating a lot! You are finally down to 4 bottles per day. You are eating cereal in the am and a fruit and vegetable and yogurt at lunch, and a fruit and vegetable and cereal in the evening. I am still preparing everything. You are eating avocados, sweet potatoes, bananas, carrots, peas, green beans, peaches, apples and puffs. I added blueberries and pears this past month. You still haven't quite figured out the sippy cup, but are working at it. You really like water.
Occasionally you show some separation anxiety, but not all the time and thankfully it goes away pretty quickly. The nursery attendants say you have a great time during church and they always say how much they loved playing with you.
Your eyes look a little more grey and less blue.
Your hair is blonde.
You definitely know your name.
You keep getting more and more fun.

You
are still wearing a size 3 diaper. Diaper changes have still been
difficult lately, you want to flip over on your stomach every time we
change you and we have to nearly wrestle you to flip you back over and
keep you on your back. . We're still continuing to say, "No."
Some of the toys you played with this past month was a lady bug that lights up and talks, scooter type toy, balls, and Elmo. Still, your favorite thing by
far was crawling around and pulling yourself up. You are even walking around the furniture. You haven't let go on purpose, yet, but I can tell you are thinking about it. Sometimes you will hold our hands and walk.Your eyes look a little more grey and less blue.

You are sleeping about 11 1/2 hours per night. You go to sleep pretty
easily, thankfully. We've had to lower your crib to the lowest spot because you were close to crawling out. You stay awake 2-4 hours at a time now. You have started waking up 1-2 times per night lately and we've had to come in and calm you down - it usually only takes a couple of minutes, but we're ready for you to go back to sleeping straight through the night. Naps have
been much better lately. You usually give me an hour nap two times per
day. You have pretty much dropped your 3rd nap.
You have two teeth on the bottom - no new ones, yet.
You
are usually a pretty happy baby. You have become quite the ham - you
love having everyone's attention and you smile at everyone. Everyone comments how happy you are and how long your eye lashes are.
You are our sweet, precious gift from God.We love you! Happy 9 months
A few outtakes:
Using Elmo to get Hudson to smile
Getting a picture is tough because you are constantly on the move
I hate to admit it, but this picture makes me laugh every time I see it
So cute. Happy 9 months Hudson! He IS a big boy and I love his chunky legs. Unfortunately, the last picture of him falling makes me smile too. You just happened to get the perfect shot, lol. Thank goodness he didn't get seriously hurt though.
