Mom's Retreat

Life has gotten really busy and will continue to be really busy until New Year's, but I was able to escape early Friday (10/26/12) morning.  26 girls (including me) loaded into several vehicles and headed to Gatlinburg for a Mom's Retreat.  Thankfully, I refrained from tearing up leaving my two favorite guys - I knew they would have a lot of fun together.  Having some girl time was much needed and really fun, I haven't had that for a few years.  Bed mates were drawn from hats so girls could step out of their comfort zone and get to know each other better.  I had a great roommate.  She was kind and sweet and it was fun getting to know her.
The view from the deck.  I love Gatlinburg and being here in the fall is gorgeous!  It was so fun admiring God's creation, getting rejuvenated, and making new friendships.  Our cabin was Large - 4 floors and enough beds for 26 girls.
Living Room - I had big plans to sit in this room and blog and comment on blogs and surf the web, but we couldn't get the wifi to work
My bedroom
Amanda modeling one of the games in the Game Room
Pool Room - plus a hot tub right outside - I used neither of them.
Friday night we had dinner at a fun, delicious restaurant called The Pear and the Partridge - they had a cute room waiting on us
Friday night devotions

Saturday we had lunch at a great place called The Apple Barn

I got home about 2 pm on Sunday and my boys got home about an hour later and it was so good seeing both of them - Hudson was so excited to see me, which made me feel really good.
