Saturday continued

I forgot to post this picture earlier. It was taken at the Coliseum. I was touching the mosaic at the exact same time Brian was taking the picture. Not meant to be covering anything. :) The mosaic is from the first century and I wanted to touch it, but didn't mean to grope him.
This is at Castel St Angelo - from the terrace - the Tiber River

That is the archangel (sp?) Michael (sp?) on top of Castel St Angelo

On the terrace with the Vatican in the background

Castel St Angelo

Campo di Fiori - we got there at the same time as several trash trucks got there, so it wasn't as cool as I was expecting.

We went back out again for a while. We went to Castel St. Angelo and then walked to Campo di Fiori, then to Piazza Navona, then to the Spanish steps. Saturday afternoon/evening is crazy in Rome, everyone is out. Maybe it also has to do with the fact that the weather has been beautiful today.

Some of my favorite memories from Rome:
Trevi Fountain
The Vatican -esp St Peter's Basilica, St Peter's Square, and the Dome
Great Restaurants
First experience with eating gelato -yum
Spanish Steps
The Coliseum
The Roman Forum

Some of my not so favorite memories from Rome:
Public bathrooms!! Thankfully I only had to use it one time, but that was enough
A lot of the women here are sporting somewhat of a mullet
Tight jeans on men
